Netanyahu ‘Baffled’ By Obama’s Settlement Criticism

For Obama …. Bibi is

Jewish

A trifecta that gnaws at Obama’s gut

 ~ Errol Phillips

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was “baffled” by President Obama’s assertion that if Israel goes forward with new settlements in East Jerusalem, it risks condemnation from its closest ally, the United States.

“I was baffled by this statement, because it doesn’t reflect American values,” Netanyahu told CBS’s Bob Schieffer on Face the Nation. “What we’re being criticized for is that some Jewish residents of Jerusalem bought apartments legally from Arabs in a predominantly Arab neighborhood, and this is seen as a terrible thing.”

In a sense, Holder encouraged racism, as did Obama. They are both slightly more polished versions of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

Like Jackson and Sharpton, they act as if they care about the black man or woman in the street, but in actuality they just care about themselves. The racial posturing is a form of moral narcissism that works to preserve racism, not to defeat It.

One of the Best 9-11 Commercials Ever Made

September 12, 2014 Leave a comment

It was aired only once

When Anheuser-Busch decided they wanted to air a 9/11 tribute commercial in New York, they knew it wouldn’t be easy.

The beer company had to get approval from several people, including members of Congress and then-New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani. It had to work out the logistics of getting Budweiser’s iconic Clydesdale horses to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and into Battery Park.

But they pulled it off and the result is one of the most touching commercials ever made. It only aired once, in 2011, so Budweiser wouldn’t financially profit off the tragedy. A previous version of the commercial features snow on the ground and also aired once, during the 2002 Super Bowl.

The warnings Bush gave were so prophetic that they are chilling

September 10, 2014 Leave a comment

Seems as though everyone got it except for Obama – Mitt Romney was right. Sarah Palin was right. George Bush was right. The Military Commanders were right. Only Obama and his Kool-Aid drinking progressive sycophants got it wrong.

Megyn Kelly reminds her viewers of warnings back in 2007 from President Bush of what would happen if we withdrew from Iraq, that epitomize what is happening right now under the Obama administration. Bush claimed that the withdrawal of U.S. troops before “our commanders tell us we are ready, would be dangerous for Iraq, for the regions, and for the United States.”

The warnings Bush gave were so prophetic that they are chilling.

List of Over 200 Anti-Israel Middle East Studies Professors

September 5, 2014 1 comment

AMCHA Publishes List of Over 200
Anti-Israel Middle East Studies Professors

Anti-Israel Middle East Studies Professors

IMPORTANT: Share this list with your family, friends, and associates via email, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, or word-of-mouth.

As the fall semester begins, many students will consider taking courses offered by Middle East scholars on their respective campuses, in order to better understand the current turmoil raging in the Middle East, especially the Israel-Gaza conflict.

AMCHA 1AMCHA Initiative has posted a list of 218 professors identifying themselves as Middle East scholars, who recently called for the academic boycott of Israel in a petition signed.

Students who wish to become better educated on the Middle East without subjecting themselves to anti-Israel bias, or possibly even anti-Semitic rhetoric, may want to check which faculty members from their university are signatories before registering.

In the petition, the professors called on their colleagues in Middle East Studies “to boycott Israeli academic institutions,” and pledged, “not to collaborate on projects and events involving Israeli academic institutions, not to teach at or to attend conferences and other events at such institutions, and not to publish in academic journals based in Israel.”

How can professors who are so biased against the Jewish state accurately or fairly teach students about Israel or the Arab-Israel conflict?

It’s bad enough that these professors have revealed themselves to be wildly biased against one, and only one, Middle Eastern country. Even more troubling, however, is the fact that many of these patently biased boycotters of Israel are affiliated with government-designated, taxpayer-funded National Resource Centers (NRC) on their campuses. Clearly NRC-affiliated faculty who have publicly vilified Israel and committed themselves to refusing ‘to collaborate on projects and events involving Israeli institutions’ have violated both the letter and spirit of the federal law which funds their teaching and research.

Here is the list of professors who have signed the boycott petition (you may also see reference articles published in the JNS and The Jewish Press):

Note: Universities marked with an asterisk (*) receive federal funding to support programs in Middle East or Near East studies

Many are clamoring for Obama to show leadership ….. Sooner or later one must realize the reality that it isn’t going to happen. Obama is pathologically prevented from doing so. He would require many years of psychiatric intervention, One cannot scrub off the spots on a leopard, Hey …. Just sayin..

The fact is, the great majority of American Jewish Democrats see their party and its agenda as their secular religion. The Last, Desperate Defense of Obama on Israel Just Evaporated

August 14, 2014 3 comments

“Our Jewish Senators and Representatives should be ashamed to go to a Synagogue during the up-coming High Holidays next month. If they do make an appearance, any sane Jew ought to get up and walk out. What person of integrity and honor would allow himself to be in the company of such scum.”

~ Errol Phillips

The following Article by Seth Mandel appeared in Commentary Magazine Online on 8/14/2014:

_

There is much to say about the latest Wall Street Journal report, noted earlier by our John Podhoretz, on the further deterioration of U.S.-Israel relations under President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu–and it’s worth noting that the Journal has really been owning this ongoing story lately. But there’s one aspect in particular that stands out. And that is the fact that if the basic structure of arms transfers from the U.S. to Israel is described accurately in the story–and it appears it is–the last refuge of Barack Obama’s defenders on his attitude toward Israel has evaporated.

Obama never hid his contempt for the Israeli government, its political class, or the majority of Israel’s voters. Even as a candidate in 2008 he let loose, ranting about Likud in a way that showed his lack of understanding of the basics of Israeli political life as well as his desire to push back on Israel’s supporters in the U.S. When he became president, only the most dedicated leftists were surprised when he, in entirely predictable fashion, picked silly fights with Israel and tried to collapse its elected governing coalition. (Though it can also be argued that those leftists were cheered by this course of action.)

There was always, however, one defense Obama’s fanboys in the media would fall back on: at least he is dedicated to ensuring Israel has what it needs to defend itself. This was generally thought to be a fair point, though never as compelling as they hoped it would be. After all, “Obama hasn’t abandoned Israel to a bloody genocide at the hands of its neighbors” is quite a low bar to clear. But the Journal story takes apart the idea that Obama has always had Israel’s back when the chips were down:

White House and State Department officials who were leading U.S. efforts to rein in Israel’s military campaign in the Gaza Strip were caught off guard last month when they learned that the Israeli military had been quietly securing supplies of ammunition from the Pentagon without their approval.

Since then the Obama administration has tightened its control on arms transfers to Israel. But Israeli and U.S. officials say that the adroit bureaucratic maneuvering made it plain how little influence the White House and State Department have with the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu —and that both sides know it.

The munitions surprise and previously unreported U.S. response added to a string of slights and arguments that have bubbled behind the scenes during the Gaza conflict, according to events related by senior American, Palestinian and Israeli officials involved.

So the essential resupply was not approved by Obama, because it didn’t have to be. It’s simply the default setting: the two countries’ defense departments have military cooperation on autopilot. But when Obama found out, he put a stop to the automatic resupply. In other words, Obama sought to downgrade the U.S.-Israel military relationship.

A general defense of Obama on Israel’s security goes something like this, from Obama’s dedicated press ally Jeffrey Goldberg: “On matters of genuine security, Obama has been a reliable ally, encouraging close military cooperation, helping maintain Israel’s qualitative military edge over its regional rivals and, most important, promising that he won’t allow Iran to cross the nuclear-weapons threshold.”

You tend to hear some variation on that theme from time to time, usually when Obama is busy picking fights with Israeli leaders. Diplomatically, he may be consistently harsh on Israel, so the thinking goes, but at least he’s absolutely committed to Israel’s security. (The Iran part of that Goldberg quote, by the way, is also up in the air, considering the president’s consistent attempts to water down or derail sanctions on Iran and his desperation for a deal that lets Iran drag out the process.)

But even that case has imploded. As the Journal explains:

On July 20, Israel’s defense ministry asked the U.S. military for a range of munitions, including 120-mm mortar shells and 40-mm illuminating rounds, which were already kept stored at a pre-positioned weapons stockpile in Israel.

The request was approved through military channels three days later but not made public. Under the terms of the deal, the Israelis used U.S. financing to pay for $3 million in tank rounds. No presidential approval or signoff by the secretary of state was required or sought, according to officials.

A U.S. defense official said the standard review process was properly followed.

Now, if that were all there was to the story, it would only partially demolish the flimsy case for Obama’s supposed dedication to Israel’s security. After all, just because Obama wasn’t involved in the resupply doesn’t mean he opposed it.

But then we come back around to the Journal story’s larger revelation, in which Obama sought to put the brakes on the process. Obama’s defenders have always had an uphill climb because the president’s diplomatic hostility is not unconnected to Israel’s security. But now we know that the president is not fully committed to Israel’s security–and, since the general process of how Israel procures ammunition goes around the president, the public is left to wonder if he ever was.

Remember when Obama promised that he would not take vacations if elected President ?

August 11, 2014 Leave a comment

Weasel Zippers has revived an old video of Barack Obama promising not to take vacations if he were elected president.

The video features then-Sen. Obama discussing his book “The Audacity Of Hope” with New York Times columnist Bob Herbert in 2008.

The future president was talking about how those running for president need to be prepared to “give their life to it.”

“The bargain that any president strikes with is, you give me this office and in turn my, fears, doubts, insecurities, foibles, need for sleep, family life, vacations, leisure is gone,” Obama said. “I am giving myself to you.”

Obama went on to say that “the American people should have no patience for what’s going on in your head because you’ve got a job to do” and that people should only run for president if they’re willing to make that sacrifice.

When asked by the host if he could imagine himself making that kind of commitment, he said, “Sure.”

Weasel Zippers used the quote to criticize Obama, saying he “then proceeded to hit the golf course 186 times (and counting).”

The president has also been criticized for taking a vacation to Martha’s Vineyard while international crises are occurring.

All the hand wringing, threats of lawsuits and impeachment, writing your Representatives, political cartoons, Facebook Rants, listening to Mark Levin or Rush, watching Fox News is meaningless. The only thing the Communists will understand is 5 Million Patriots surrounding the White House and the Capitol demanding Obama’s Resignation. Sorry about telling the truth.

Only an American Spring will bring about Obama’s demise. We also need an American Spring at our Southern Border

Re: The Washington Redskins:

I would suggest, as in an email I received, they change the name to the “Foreskins” to better represent their community, … paying tribute to the dick heads in Congress.

Even though “impeachment” is not likely in the cards doesn’t mean giving up talking about it. A significant chunk of the population knows that he deserves to go and we are entitled to express our opinion whether anyone likes it or not.

He is our Captain Queeg

People want Sarah Palin to “shut up” because the truth she delivers is direct and to the point and that scares the crap out of most people ….. because the great majority of the people are locked into what makes them comfortable …. and Sarah stirs the pot and makes them uncomfortable…… Fear blocks them from really listening.

In my opinion, Sarah could invest very wisely in a speech coach to improve her delivery …. She really is the real deal.

I have been watching Fox’s Bernard Goldberg’s Tweets and I am coming away with the opinion that he is a Jackass … Hey … It’s my opinion.

I would have omitted the word “Borderline”

July 11, 2014 Leave a comment

Ben Shapiro finally said what needed to be said: The Obama administration is a “borderline Jew-hating administration” (video below).  I think Mr. Shapiro was too kind. The word borderline did not need to be used to qualify the statement. But it was good to hear someone say what needed to be said, even if there was an extra word.

For all we don’t know about Barack Obama, one thing is abundantly clear: He hates Jews.
