Making It Interesting – DJT

DJT and Family
From a retired police officer………….

Donald Trump is a piece of work even by New York standards: tall, white, loud, brash, entrepreneurial, successful, rich, ruthlessly candid, well-dressed, and fond of heterosexual women.

He has married at least three delicious ladies in fact. Trump has five children and seven grandchildren. Indeed, his progeny are well above average too, smartly groomed, photogenic, and successful to boot. As far as we know, Donald does not have any tattoos, piercings, unpaid taxes, or under-aged bimbo interns, nor is he a drinker or a junkie.
Trump projects and enterprises probably employ more folks than the NYC school system — or the United Nations. You could say that Trump is living the life, not the life of Riley, but more like Daddy Warbucks with a comb over. “The Donald,” as one ex-wife calls him, is not just living the American dream. Trump is the dream — and proud of it. You could do worse than think of Trump as upwardly mobile blue collar.

He is the grandson of immigrants and the product of Long Island, a Queens household, and a Bronx education. The Donald survived the Jesuits of Fordham University for two years before migrating to finish his baccalaureate at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

When readers of the New York Times, The New Yorker, and the New York Review of Books speak of “the city”, (Manhattan) they are not talking about the Queens or the Bronx. Growing and schooling in the blue-collar boroughs. gives Trump a curb level perspective, something seldom found in Manhattan. Or as any “D” Train alumnus might put it, Trump has “a pretty good Bravo Sierra detector. ”

So what’s not to like about Donald Trump? He doesn’t just stay in four-star hotels; he builds them. He doesn’t just own luxury condominiums; he makes them. He doesn’t just own historic buildings; he restores them. He doesn’t just eat at the best restaurants; he creates them. He just doesn’t belong to the best country clubs; he builds those too.

Donald Trump, unlike the Manhattan/Washington fantasy Press and every Beltway political pimp, doesn’t just pay lip service to a bigger and better economy, he creates micro-economies every day.

In any case, the merits of entrepreneurs like Trump might best be defined by the character or motives of his critics. Trump detractors are for the most part “B” list politicians, ambulance chasers, and a left-leaning Press corps that lionizes the likes of Nina Totenberg, Dan Rather, Chris Matthews, Andrea Mitchell, and Brian Williams. If the truth were told, most of Trump’s critics are jealous, envious of his wealth and they loathe his candor.

Donald might also be hated for what he is not. Trump is not a lawyer, nor is he a career politician who lives on the taxpayer dime. Trump is paying for his own campaign. Bernie, Barack, McCain, and Kerry could take enterprise lessons from a chap like Trump. Unlike most government barnacles, Trump can walk and chew gum at the same time. He knows how to close a deal and build something. He is a net creator, not consumer, of a kind of wealth that provides “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness ” for Americans — real jobs not feather merchants.
Today, Trump has nothing left to prove. Yet, success has allowed him the rarest of public privileges, an electoral pulpit and the courage to speak his mind.  Alas, truth is not necessarily a political asset in a socialized democracy. Indeed, the erstwhile presidential candidate stepped on his tongue recently by suggesting that Mexico, already exporting dangerous drugs, cheap tomatoes, and even cheaper labor, was also exporting violent felons to the US. Truth hurts! Trump’s rude candor is underwritten by nearly half a million illegal felons in American jails.

Coincidently, events have conspired to support Trump’s take on Mexican dystopia with the El Chapo Guzman jailbreak and the murder of Kathryn Steinle by Francisco Sanchez. Senor Sanchez sported a lengthy criminal record and had been deported on four previous occasions. San Francisco, a “sanctuary” city, failed to honor existing warrants and released Sanchez from jail just before he blew Kathy Steinle away!

As serendipity would have it, Trump then went to Phoenix on 12 July and gave a stem winder to a sell-out crowd on the subject of illegal immigration. Senator John McCain was not pleased to have The Donald on Arizona’s front lawn and intemperately called Trump supporters “crazies.”

To date, Trump has run a clever campaign. He is chumming; throwing red meat and blood into campaign waters and all the usual suspects are in a feeding frenzy. McCain, the Press, the Left, and the Republican establishment all have something to say about “The Donald.” It is truly amazing how cleverly Trump manages to manipulate the establishment. If you are trying to sell an idea or a candidacy, there’s no such thing as bad publicity. Who knows where the Trump campaign goes?
With El Capo on the loose again, every time a toilet flushes in Sinaloa, Mexican garbage is likely spill out in Los Angeles, Hollywood, San Francisco, Portland, or Seattle. Indeed, it’s hard to believe that the Left Coast could survive without cheap labor, pistileros, meth, coke, heroin, or weed. Necrotic immigration and its byproducts are ready made targets for a gunslinger like Trump. Trump is no bigot. He probably employs more Latinos and Blacks than Enrique Peña Nieto or as current President, Barack Obama.

In his own way, Donald Trump is both immigrant and POW, a refugee from Queens and still a prisoner of Wharton. The Donald is The Dude, the guy with babes and a roll of Benjamins that would choke a shark. He is the wildly successful capitalist that some of us love to hate. It doesn’t take much insight to compare Trump’s various enterprises with federal programs. Public education, banking oversight, public housing slums, poverty doles, veterans fiascos, Internal Revenue hijinks, and even some Defense Department procurement programs are consensus failures. The F-35 “Lightning” fighter is an illustration, arguably the most expensive single DOD boondoggle in history. Pentagon progressives seldom win a catfight these days, but they still spend like sailors.

In Trump’s world failure has consequences so if and when he fails, he is out of business. In contrast, Washington rewards failure with better funding. Indeed, generational program failure is now a kind of perverse incentive for Beltway politicians and apparatchiks to throw good money after failed programs. The difference between Trump and McCain should be obvious to any fair observer; Trump has done something with his talents.

Any way you look at it, Donald Trump is good for national politics, good for democracy, good for America, and especially good for candor. If nothing else, The Donald may help Republicans to pull their heads out of that place where the sun seldom shines
At this point I have no idea who I am supporting. I like Ted Cruz, Ben Carson and several others, however I am enjoying every minute of seeing Trump confound the critics and driving the liberal, progressives, and media crazy.

You better believe I would vote for Trump over ANYTHING the Democrat party selects. We are in for the fight of our life for this nation and we need someone with a whole lot of nerve, guts or whatever you call it. . I am sick of the establishment politicians who stand for nothing, have accomplished nothing and are a large part of the problem in this country, and if Trump is the nominee I will be campaigning for him. You may not agree with all of this, but there are, I think, many good points.

Do with it what you will.

The Pacific – A Story of the Greatest Generation

July 2, 2015 Leave a comment

I just finished bingeing out on HBO’s Mini Series “The Pacific” (Amazon Prime)… Inspiring what our Guys went through in WW 2 to keep us free. This should be required viewing for most of the ungrateful dumb shits in our schools.

Below is a Short Trailer followed by a longer Trailer describing how the Series was made.

Here is a longer Trailer showing how the Series was made

Eugene Sledge’s story is THE story of the magnificent Marines in WW2. His miraculous survival (never even got wounded!) is almost unbelievable. Keeping a diary in his small bible of his day to day horrors led up to his classic book ‘The Old Breed’. To this day, ‘Sledgehammer’s’ story is a tribute to all the fine and tremendously brave men who fought in the front lines.

Here is a short clip of Eugene Sledge sharing some thought’s about the Campaign.

You can Buy or rent the series from Amazon – or if you are a Prime Member, it is available free.

Those Guys were truly the Greatest Generation.

Are Libertarians Patriots ….. I sometimes wonder

November 10, 2014 4 comments

For some time now I have been troubled by Libertarian selfishness for indirectly supporting our present Neo-Communist Regime. Just recently, I posted some “snarks” to my Blog including the one below:

The Libertarian Voters in Virginia cost Patriots a seat in Senate and no doubt in other races. They are as bad as the Communists and deserve to be held in the highest contempt by any freedom loving American. Selfish MF’s in my opinion.

It just seems that Libertarians would rather steer the Titanic into an iceberg if they don’t get their way rather than save the Ship.

I received this reply from a long time correspondent, an ex-marine, and a Libertarian. Blue Font is Correspondent

Mr. Phillips:

This particular snark is totally unjustified—”The Libertarian Voters in Virginia cost Patriots a seat in Senate and no doubt in other races.  They are as bad as the Communists and deserve to be held in the highest contempt by any freedom loving American.  Selfish MF’s in my opinion.”

Sir, I served over thirty (30) years in the Armed Forces of the United States.  I fought communism @ great personal cost, to include being wounded in combat—more than once no less.  My military service severely impacted my ability to earn a living and to continue to be a productive member of the society I fought on behalf of.  I EARNED the right to participate in this government and I am offended when anyone tries to deny me that right, or ridicules/belittles me for engaging in it.

Sir, I REFUSE to ‘check my brain @ the door’ and let others do my thinking for me.

Sir, I REFUSE to give my vote to anyone who fails to represent me.  Sir, NEVER forget the words of the Revolutionary War patriot Samuel Adams; “Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual—or at least that he ought not so to do—but he is executing one (1) of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country” or the words of the late President John Quincy Adams; “Always vote for principle; though you may vote alone, you may cherish the sweet reflection your vote is never lost.”

Sir, I DEMAND representation; the representation I EARNED.

Sir, please understand that the two (2) party system has failed this great nation of ours, it has failed miserably.  Sir, let there never be any doubt that elections involving the two (2) party system currently used in the United States are like choosing your method of execution—the hangman’s noose or the firing squad.  With the two (2) party system, all we get are Democrats representing the communists, spineless RHINOS representing their own vested interests, or a few true conservatives who are left ‘high and dry’ by the RHINOs.

Sir, please understand that a vote for a RHINO is a vote for the communists since it continues the downward spiral of this great nation of ours as the RHINOs play ‘patty cake’ with the communists controlling the Democratic Party.  A vote for a Libertarian, a Constitutionalist, or any other who represents the American people is to be treasured and is the start of a trend.  Please don’t insult me with the trite “I live in a world of reality” excuse; after all; “There are no excuses.  There are reasons, but not excuses.  But whatever they are, reasons or excuses, they’re both like sphincter muscles; everybody has one (1) and they all stink.”

Sir, if you have ever held a dying eighteen (18) year old in your arms—his legs blown off, his guts ripped open, blinded by the flash of the explosion that injured him, a sucking chest wound, and his life slowly ebbing away—looked him in the eyes and watched him die as I did far too many times, then you’d understand the OBLIGATION to vote your conscious so his sacrifice was not in vain.

Sir, please don’t insult me with trite, meaningless, remarks like; “Thank you for your service” when what you really mean is “Thank you for serving so that I didn’t have to, now go away and suffer with your memories and shattered dreams in silence where I’m not exposed to the horrors of what you experienced.”

Why this rant you ask?  Did you see what that RHINO Mitch McConnell, who expects to be Senate Majority Leader in January of 2015, said the day after the election?  Just one (1) day after winning reelection based on campaigning to repeal Obamacare.  He said that as Senate Majority Leader he will not allow a vote to repeal Obamacare.  Yet you expect me to vote for someone like him?  NOT!!!  Sir, never forget the words of the late president, President Ronald Wilson Reagan, aka The Gipper and The Teflon Don; “One (1) of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people have been by way of medicine.  It is very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project.  Most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medial care for people who possible can’t afford it.”

Sir THIS, arrogant elitists like Mitch McConnell, is why the two (2) party system is a failure; a TOTAL failure.  This is why the Libertarian Party, the Constitutional Party and other patriots, TRUE patriots and not ‘fair weather patriots’ are the ONLY thing that will save the United States from self-imploding as Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev and their minions have promised.

Well … you helped to deliver Obama for 6 years – Thanks

I would rather have Mitch McConnell over Harry Reid – that’s for sure – And I would rather have Ed Gillespie than Mark Warner.

That you don’t that grasp that your actually supported the Communists is quite troubling. You seem to be too selfish to see that.

Thank you for you your service. I too was an Officer in the U.S. Army for 2 years Active and 5 years Active Reserve

Sometimes being right gets you no ice cream

Mr. Phillips:

No Sir, I did NOT help ‘. . . deliver Obama  . . .’  We got that morally, ethically and intellectually bankrupt son-of-a-bitch because RHINOs refused to do THEIR job and DEMAND accountability, much less vet him in the first place.

I would rather have NEITHER Mitch McConnell over Harry Reid, or Ed Gillespie than Mark Warner.  This great nation of ours deserves better than any of them.  The only way we will ever get it is to demand it—fire (impeach, recall, vote out of office, etc.) people who refuse to do their jobs and represent their constituents.  Never forget the words of the late Jerome J. ‘Jerry’ Garcia of The Grateful Dead; “Constantly choosing the lesser of two (2) evils is still choosing evil.”  Even a stopped clock is right twice a day and that brain-dead druggie was right about that.

Selfish?  I’m selfish because I want what’s best for my country and refuse to let anyone bully or intimidate me into prostituting my integrity and following their self-serving, less-than-transparent agenda?  What hubris!!!  Your self-righteousness is indicative of a pathological control freak and deserves only one (1) response, “Jawohl Mein Fuhrer,” since it is right out of the 1930s Germany.

That you can’t grasp that it is YOU and not I who is supporting the communists is more than troubling.  It’s treason!!!

Agree that sometimes being right gets you no ice cream, which is why I haven’t had and ice cream in more than a few years now.  I don’t miss it.  I’s a mere price to pay for being right and defending my country, from external threats or from subversives from within.  Remember that Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev and a whole lot of others promised to destroy America incrementally and that is just exactly what you do when you support a RHINO—death by a firing squad or a hangman’s noose.  Apparently you think you can survive either.  WRONG!!!

Ya know Mr. Phillips, I can learn from and agree to disagree with people who hold different views than do I.  Some have even been known to convince me with sound, rational, argument.  That’s what intelligent conversation is all about.  Ridiculing and belittling people who disagree with you is NOT intelligent conversation, it is NOT sound, rational, argument, it is bullying that is right out of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals; it’s communism.

Please remove me from your mailing list and your address book until you can treat me with the same dignity and respect you demand of yourself—until you can understand that you do NOT have the right to give me orders and DEMAND I obey you just because you were once and officer and I am what you obviously think is ‘stupid enlisted swine.’  What utter arrogance!!!

I am not going to dignify your comments with a reply …

As Andrew Breitbart so elegantly said shortly before he passed away  “You are on the other side”

Just have to have the last word don’t you?  Typical of a control freak.  Will you’re now blocked, so I won’t have to see/read/hear/listen to your insulting racist bullshit anymore.  ~~  God Bless America—Land of the Free Because of the Brave!!! . . .

“We want our national policy to be based on what we know in our hearts is morally right.”–Ronald Reagan

October 21, 2014 Leave a comment

Next Monday, October 27th will be the 50th anniversary of Reagan’s iconic speech that launched the modern day conservative movement in America and launched his career, which ended up at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

I’m quite sure Reagan’s spirit — and that of others – which still linger amidst the White House are quite disturbed with what is happening in our Constitutional Republic.

Young America’s Foundation will be releasing a series of videos in remembrance of the 50th anniversary of the speech — this first one is focused on national security, the federal government’s preeminent imperative.

President Ronald Reagan advocated for “peace through strength” and was a true leader when it came to protecting America from her enemies. He said, “We want our national policy to be based on what we know in our hearts is morally right.” We need to reestablish President Reagan’s vision for America –its exceptionalism, and we need to stop leading from behind and promising more flexibility after reelection.

Video on President Eisenhower’s Air Force One in 1953 –  which wound up in an aircraft bone-yard in Arizona.

Some Patriots are determined to restore the aircraft

Seems we have a tendency to easily dishonor our past treasures.

Please pass this on.

Sen. Ted Cruz at the 2014 Values Voter Summit

September 26, 2014 1 comment

Ted Cruz gave one of his better speeches this morning at the 2014 Values Voter Summit. I especially liked the part where he talked about his dad abandoning his family in Canada and that if it weren’t for his Dad finding Jesus he might have grown up with a single mom.
