Andrew Breitbart – My Kind of Patriot

Breitbart was a prolific commentator who founded several websites devoted to covering politics, entertainment and everything in-between. Earlier in his career, he worked for the Drudge Report before breaking off to start his own outlets — including Big Government, Big Hollywood and Breitbart.tv.

The statement on his sites quoted the concluding passage from his book, Righteous Indignation.

“I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and — famously — I enjoy making enemies. Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands of allies — who knows ?. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night”

Below is the video of Andrew’s 2012 at CPAC Speech – He was “Game On” that day. I pray we can win this one Andrew.  If you haven’t seen Andrew before – this video is just for you. And if you have already seen this one, watch and get inspired again by a truly amazing Guy – The Patriot in many of us.

Reblogged this on Pitchfork Patriots and commented:

Today is the 2nd Anniversary of Andrew’s tragic death at the all to young age of 43.

Many of you are not so much familiar with Andrew Breitbart – so I have re-posted this Blog of Andrew speaking at CPAC in 2012 shortly before he passed away

What a Patriot – I still miss him.

Thanks for sharing this, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it! He really hit the nail on the head with this address. I especially like this starting from about the 12:45 mark onward. He ended the address with a great resounding forte. Sad, gone too soon… I intend on sharing this on my own newly started blog.
